Feedback

We can learn a lot from feedback.

It can help us adjust and advance quickly to get to where we want to be.

But most people (including myself) find it difficult to receive decent feedback for various reasons: it feels like criticism, puts you on the defensive and can get you down.

So one tip to counter this is to get out of your comfort zone and actively seek valuable and constructive feedback with this simple trick.

Ask the following question:

"What’s the one thing you see me doing (or failing to do) that’s causing a problem?"

By asking for just one specific thing, you’ll get an answer (possibly several) that could be just what you need to make progress you’re looking for.
